Start your job searchA prestigious property developer is currently seeking an experienced property/real estate finance professional to take on the challenging role of Finance Director.
With oversight of both the commercial and controllership aspects of the finance function, and with a strong requirement to add strategic leadership to the business, this role will offer superb career progression within a highly dynamic business.
Duties to include:
- Oversight of the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Ensuring the timely production of the annual statutory accounts, as well as interim accounts.
- Development of financial systems, processes, and controls.
- Development and motivation of the finance team, ensuring a best in practice function is maintained.
- Working closely with the Corporate Finance team with regards to agreeing deal structures, and providing updates and analysis to financiers as required.
- Working closely with the Executive team to develop and establish the companies strategy.
- Provide continual support to the CFO on a variety of matters and projects.
- Management of key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Manage the provision of detailed reporting and analysis to the Board.
- Deputise for the CFO as required.
Candidate requirements:
- Qualified Accountant.
- Experience gained from the property or real estate sector.
- Proven leader and motivator.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and business partnering skills.
- Proven ability to add commercial value.
- Experience gained from within a similar large, complex, and fast paced business.
