My client a US organisation with a UK presence requires a Finance Director to oversee their Manchester based operation as it prepares to organically grow

This organisation is a Pharmaceutical research group who also manufacture, they are currently at Phase 3 of clinical trials.

This role requires both a hands on technical professional who has previously worked within either pharmaceuticals or manufacturing. Experience within a private equity backed organisation would be desirable. Practical knowledge of operating within an international arena particularly in relation to US GAAP, transfer pricing and R&D Tax Credits. Experience of an ERP implementation would also be a distinct advantage.

This position will also require the successful candidate to assume an operational / general management role within the organisation so a broad view of all departments is essential

You will be Qualified ACA with post qualification experience as an active member of the senior leadership team is essential. This position would suit someone looking for their first Finance Director position
