Finance Manager | Manchester | 12 month FTC | £55k-£60k | Hybrid

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a dynamic and growing organisation to recruit a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager. This role is crucial in overseeing all aspects of financial management and providing strategic financial advice to support the business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow reports, and financial statements.
  • Ensure accurate bookkeeping (payable and receivable), payroll processing, and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership to support business growth.
  • Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with external accountants and stakeholders.
  • Monitor profitability, analyze financial performance, and identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Handle quarterly VAT return filing.
  • Assist with pricing strategies, client contracts, and financial risk management.
  • Work closely with the Operations team in managing and forecasting fixed assets.


About you

  • ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified Accountant.
  • Experience acting as a true 'business partner' and supporting leaders with commercial finance activities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a hands-on approach to financial management.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Strong understanding of accounting software and financial reporting tools
