Finance Manager | Stockport | Up to £55,000 | 9 Month FTC

A PE-backed support services business is seeking a proactive and hands-on Finance Manager to join its team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. Based in Stockport, this role is office-based (5 days a week), with some flexibility considered. It's a great opportunity to take ownership of core finance processes in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close and produce accurate management accounts
• Oversee payroll processing and liaise with external providers
• Manage invoicing and billing cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Support budgeting and cash flow forecasting
• Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve financial processes

About You

• Qualified or QBE accountant
• Strong experience across month-end, payroll, and billing
• High attention to detail and strong Excel skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
