Finance manager - 12 Month FTC - Media (SOX)

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Client Finance Manager to join the UK Finance team on an interim basis (12 month FTC). The Client Finance Manager will be a self-motivated, collaborative individual with exceptional interpersonal skills who will serve as a day-to-day finance point of contact and business partner to the Client Services teams whilst supporting the development of a junior member of the team.

As part of the role you will be involved with some of the largest and best-known clients in the World, offering support and financial insight to staff working on those accounts.

About the Role?

  • Conducting regular meetings with Client Service teams to review client revenue forecasts and financial KPIs
  • Analysing client profitability and making recommendation for improvements
  • Reviewing client scopes of work from a commercial perspective and continuous monitoring of them
  • Prepare regular client performance analysis for presentation to client leads and provide insight and analysis to aid performance improvement and profitability of your accounts
  • Management of client forecasts, invoicing and cash collection
  • Preparation/oversight of the month end process,, supporting junior staff and ensuring numbers are accurate and delivered to Global deadline
  • Assist the HoF in the identification of risks and drive process and control improvements to increase efficiency within the finance team
  • Management and development of junior member of Finance Team (AR)
  • Proactively monitoring AR and WIP ageing, escalating where appropriate
  • Work closely with Client Services to improve efficiency and financial understanding
  • Internal and external revenue recognition compliance

Your Skills:

  • Have significant experience within a similar Client Finance or Commercial Accountant roles
  • Highly commercial with Agency experience
  • SOX experience
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Flexible and measured approach to problems
  • Strong analytical skills, with a proficiency in Excel
  • Strong communicator and able to communicate to stakeholders at all levels
  • An obvious team ethic, with the ability to work independently
  • Drive, tenacity and good self-starting skills
  • Immediately Available
