I am excited to share this Finance Manager role with you as it is working for the SME sister company of one of our key clients in their industry sector.

The business has recently reached an exciting time in its journey as the profitable company continues to grow healthily following the acquisition. This particular role as Finance Manager will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to be the number one in finance for the company.

The role will challenge all areas of your finance capabilities, from business partners, to managing projects, month end processes, balance sheet analysis, cash flow forecasting and even managing a small team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering, supporting key decision makers in the business
  • Product and Project margin analysis and pricing
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, with a key focus on revenue recognition
  • Management and close of the month end process - whilst adhering to deadlines
  • Prepare P&L and Balance sheet analysis and commentary
  • Prepare monthly project reviews for specific areas of the business
  • Oversee budget management and periodic reforecasting
  • Cash flow forecasting and management
  • Develop, deliver and maintain robust accounting systems & processes
  • People management of small team

Requirements

  • Full qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience (ish)
  • Experience working in an SME environment
  • Experience of managing payroll processes
  • Experience of managing a small tea
  • Strong technical finance skillset combined with natural commercial acumen
  • Experience of transforming manual processes to automated
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong organisational skills and passion for meeting deadlines
  • Strong influencing skills, able to challenge stakeholders at all levels
  • Personable attitude with a friends manner
