Start your job searchMy client, a leader in the media industry is looking to add a Statutory Reporting Accountant to assist them during an extremely busy period on a 6 month FTC
The Roles and Responsibilities of the Statutory Reporting Accountant Position will Include:
- Preparation of UK statutory accounts, including liaising with external auditors
- Take ownership of the timely production of year-end audit deliverables
- Perform monthly reviews of statutory information for all trading entities across the Group
- Identify areas of improvement in the statutory reporting environment, suggesting and implementing new processes and controls where necessary
- Undertake ad hoc financial analysis/forecasting to support the business in effective and informed decision-making
- Assist in completing ad-hoc reporting analysis requests made by senior stakeholders
- Supporting Finance Director in legal entity rationalisation and liquidation by
documenting and clearing out entities in-system
The successful individual will;
- ACA Qualified - Big 4
- Have experience within a statutory reporting role
- Consolidated financial reporting expert, FRS 102 Experience
- Strong Statutory reporting background
- Good knowledge on tax is beneficial
- Experience with dealing with stakeholders
