Marks Sattin are currently working with a leading Sheffield based business to assist in the recruitment of a Financial Accountant.

Responsible for:

• Monthly consolidation and preparation of results
• Half year results consolidation and interim accounts reporting
• Year end results consolidation and statutory financial statements
• Consolidating the annual budget and preparing budget reporting packs
• Providing accounting support to the operating divisions
• Liaising with external auditors during the annual audit process
• Supporting the timely completion of tax returns and payments
• Reporting the cash position of the Group through accurate daily tracking and forecasting
• Ad hoc projects / analysis as required

Candidate profile:

• Qualified accountant.
• Would suit a first-time mover from practice into industry
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS)
• Experience with group accounts and consolidations would be helpful
