Really excited to be working with a market leading services based business in Harrogate on their search for a financial accountant!

As Financial Accountant, your duties will include:

• Involved in the interim and year-end external audits
• Supporting the preparation of the consolidated financial statements and reports in accordance with local requirements and standards
• Supporting the wider finance teams in the preparation of month end close and monthly management information which forms part of the Board reporting
• Managing the consolidation process with the rest of the Financial Reporting team
• Working with other central service departments to deliver value add reporting
• Input into technical accounting matters to support the judgements and estimates applied to the financial statements
• Supporting and assisting the Group Tax Manager with the preparation of tax returns
• Ensuring strict compliance with company and regulatory standards

Profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Financial reporting or Audit experience
• Understanding of IFRS and relevant financial accounting regulations
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
