Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial statements as well as providing accurate and useful insights to financial data for non-finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Collaboration with internal stakeholders and departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and data collection.
• Supporting the month end and year end processes.
• Partner with senior management teams, providing them with accurate financial data to assist with decision making and strategy
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting standards
• Preparation of VAT returns and statutory filing
• Identify areas for process improvement
• Ad hoc responsibilities including financial analysis and other reporting needs.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar/transferable position. Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills will be necessary to provide accurate reporting standards and commercial insight. Industry experience in hospitality/ real estate/ property (or similar) is desirable. Software skills including Excel will be needed, as well as general communication skills and problem solving ability.
