Start your job searchA well-known Financial Services Company are looking for a qualified accountant to join their growing finance team. It is a great place to work for with a really nice culture based in the heart of the city.
It's a really nice broad role giving to great exposure to the wider business as well as the companies within their group making it a really varied role!
As an employer they take a real interest into your career development and you will have good support within the role and have the ability to get involved in extra projects if you want to. You will also have great progression options available to you moving forward internally and externally.
You main responsibilities would include:
- Production and review of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements.
- Production and review of monthly and quarterly management information.
- Producing and providing commentary on results to the board
- Insuring timely preparation and completion of COREP and FINREP reporting
- Quarterly VAT returns
The successful candidate will be:
- A Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Equivalent)
- Experienced with financial accounts preparation and/or audit experience essential
- Financial services experience is essential (which includes financial services audit work)
- COREP, FINREP and CASS experience is beneficial
- Have a working knowledge of IFRS
