Start your job searchThis reputable and growing business is currently seeking a motivated Financial Controller to help develop finance and achieve their overall business strategies. The role requires someone that is commercially aware with a pedigree in finance to partner with senior stakeholders and give guidance on business initiatives, performance and targets and play a key part in overall decision-making.
A broad and varied role, you will report directly into the FD and senior management whilst managing a high-performing finance team. As well as being tasked with the day-to-day running of the finance function, covering monthly statutory and management accounts, you will compile best in class financial reports and presentations for senior management, giving guidance across financial challenges, risks and opportunities. The role will also have a strong focus on improving finance processes and systems and the production of management information in order to support growth.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) and will have a background in financial management and control, ideally from a SME environment. Having strong commercial acumen in addition to technical knowledge is needed. You will be adept in working closely with senior stakeholders and managing and motivating a small finance team and have a passion for producing quality and robust financial reports.
