Role - Financial Controller Location - Manchester Salary - Up to £75,000 with additional benefits

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing property business their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their Manchester city centre office on a hybrid working model for an initial 12 month contract.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a strong academic record. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of consolidating accounts would be preferable. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to working with an ERP finance system would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Any exposure to working within the property sector would be preferable although not a necessity. Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve:

  • Responsibility for month end reporting
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Review and challenge on capital expenditure programmes
  • Lead on all statutory reporting requirements
  • Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Key contact for auditors and banking partners
  • Project accounting
  • Partnering with various different departments
  • Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and systems
  • Management of the finance team

Salary for the role is up to £75,000 benefits
