The Role: Front End Developer

Where: WFH model. New Brighton office is available, 19 desks are free to book, you can come in once a month, or once a week if you wish!

The Salary: Up to £50,000

The Client: Our client are a Brighton based, ground breaking digital marketing company who now have a fantastic opportunity to join a small team of developers. The role is to develop and maintain the Front End components of their applications to ensure delivery of a brilliant experience to their users.

The Role:

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain application front end components built on React (70%) and Angular (30%) alongside complementary front end technologies and tooling like automated testing, continuous integration and automated deployment
  • Work closely with the Product team to design and develop great, highly usable user facing features
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure development velocity if optimised and communication is maximised

  • Keen interest in technology
  • Keeps up to date on the latest trends and technology options
  • Can contribute ideas and put them into practice
  • Able to provide knowledge and suggestions in relation to software design and best practices
  • Enthusiastic about the challenge of building a product that supports and encourages clients in best practice
  • Great team-working skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Good organisational skills
  • Keen attention to detail

Essential Skills

  • Development with React/Angular
  • Working with CSS
  • Experience with version control systems
  • Development of automated test coverage

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Experience working in an SAAS environment
  • Experience in automated build and continuous integration
