FTSE100 Oil & Gas explorer seeks an exceptional Group Financial Controller to develop their London finance team. With interests in high potential projects across western Africa and central Asia, the business has entered a lucrative phase of production with stakeholder confidence at a new high.
Supporting the Finance Director, you will mentor a small team (with a remit for expansion) and assume direct responsibility for the daily management of group finance, improving existing (and new) reporting lines and internal control procedures, whilst supporting the development of new financial strategies and M&A. A role with autonomy, board-level exposure and excellent potential for progression as their project base matures.
The successful individual will be a hands-on controller with extensive oil & gas knowledge, excellent technical acumen (IFRS) and a proven record of team development. A unique position with great independence where one must be comfortable with working in a dynamic environment.
