Marks Sattin are recruiting on behalf of a well established business in the Leamington Spa / Warwick area who are looking for a Credit Controller / Accounts Receivable Specialist on a long term temporary contract with potential to become permanent.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsibility of credit control function for all customer accounts.
  • Process all sales updates for customer invoices and credit notes.
  • Bank Reconciliations.
  • Run monthly credit control meetings.
  • Prepare and process the Cash Receipts, matching cash receipts to invoices paid.
  • Reconcile Customer accounts in conjunction with Credit Control.
  • Reconcile Sales Ledger Control Accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Maintaining the AR order hold process and compliance hold process.
  • Prepare the Credit Note spreadsheets for use during the month end close.
  • Liaising with Auditors, Customer service and the business.
  • Process and maintain accounts receivable - tasks will include recharge invoices, collection of invoices, cashbook reconciliation, month end close journals, balance sheet reconciliations, ad-hoc analysis.
  • Maintain and implement internal controls to a high standard.
  • Cover for Purchase Ledger in times of absence.
  • Ad hoc tasks to assist the Finance Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable, credit control, and all aspects of transactional finance.
  • Analytical approach with strong attention to detail.
  • CICM or AAT qualification would be a bonus, but not essential.
  • You MUST have full and indefinite rights to work in the UK to be considered for this position.
