Our client, a fast growing fund administrator in Southampton with an industry leading retention record has a great opportunity for a Trainee depositary Accountant to join their team in Southampton.

The purpose of this role is to help contribute to the delivery of day to day depositary functions to a portfolio of overseas clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver daily cash monitoring and reconciliation obligations for a small portfolio of depositary clients.
• Maintain accurate fund accounting record on efront and fruit documentation records on SharePoint
• Work with depositary manager and your small team of accountants, ensuring high levels of client service maintained while information gathering remains efficient and effective

The right candidate will:

• Be studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA,ACA OR CIMA)
• Have good computer literacy skills
• Sound technical financial services knowledge

• Good academic background

• A willingness to travel to Luxembourg occasionally

• Fluency in German or French is desirable

• Maintain accurate record on eFront and Microsoft Excel working paper
