Start your job searchA client of ours in the private equity space is looking to bring on a Fund Accountant to sit in their Surrey offices. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone passionate about making a difference in their day to day work.
The company in question look to make social impact investments across Africa, where they are the biggest player in the region - dominating an interesting and dynamic market. They invest both through joint ventures with local communities and also through direct investments; focusing on developing skills and prospects in local communities.
The role itself will involve looking after a long running fund entity whilst also assisting in the fundraising efforts for one of their new funds. This is a small, close-knit business and as such you will get to work with teams across the business and get exposure to a wide range of work including dealing with investor requests, exposure to portfolio monitoring and ad hoc project work. They are keen not to pigeonhole anyone into one role in particular and it is an excellent team to work with.
They are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 0 - 3 years PQE, either straight from practice or with some background at another in-house role or with a fund administrator.
The role sits in their Cobham office in Surrey and as such will require commuting away from London.
