Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer, the Group FC will be a dynamic high performer who can ensure smooth running and control across the finance function, whilst providing necessary support to the CFO to aid in the continued growth and strategic direction of the business.

The Group FC's purpose is to provide overall management of all Finance related activities including:

  • Preparation of consolidated accounts and KPIs
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Provision of management information
  • Coordinating accounting controls and information for all sites
  • Implementation and maintenance of all financial controls and systems
  • Management of cash and working capital
  • Liaison on day to day matters with auditors and bank
  • Identifying and recommending potential operation efficiencies
  • Making improvements to working practices and procedures

This is an ideal role for an experienced Financial Controller, who much like the business itself strives for excellence. They will be a qualified accountant (preferably CA) with excellent academics and experience working in a larger commercial organisation but also possessing a mentality that would suit a growing business. Strong modeling expertise is essential as is strong communication skills and experience of a multi-site business.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a talented finance professional to make the step into private equity, gaining experience of PE senior management, possibly laying the foundations to be an equity participating Finance Director in the future.
