Role - Head of Finance Location - Bolton Salary - Between £95,000 and £120,000 + benefits.

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a market-leading global business in their search for a Head of Finance to work out of their Bolton based office.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified and have extremely strong technical accounting skills ideally initially trained within an accountancy practice. The capability to build strong working relationships throughout a business is crucial and any exposure to working within international businesses would be a distinct advantage. Excellent Excel skills are a must and any exposure to transformation within a company would be preferable. The ability to manage large teams and experience of SOX compliance would be desirable. Key duties for the Head of Finance role will involve the following:

• Oversee on financial control of the business
• Ensure a robust control framework
• Ensure effective oversight of statutory accounts, tax, regulatory issues etc.
• Partner with the senior management team throughout Europe
• Look after the cash position paying particular attention to liquidity, foreign exchange and working capital
• Work with the US parent business to ensure efficient and succinct reporting
• Lead on the transformation project from a finance perspective throughout Europe
• Manage a large finance team

Salary for the role is anywhere between £95,000 and £120,000 + additional benefits
