A fast growing, sustainable retailer is looking to hire a Head of Finance on a short-term contract to help with their year end audit as well as being responsible to fully managed their financial resources. Reporting to the CEO, you will be pivotal member in the finance team to help the organisation to develop their future plans and ensuring steady growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the company's group accounting, including consolidation, preparing statutory accounts and help with the year end audit.
• Responsible for various projects of improvements, including process implementation & optimisation.
• Responsible for analysing financial performance, producing commentary and understanding what this means to the business in terms of opportunities and risks
• Monitoring VAT compliance.
• Responsible for ensuring efficient stock allocation and clearly tracking gross margins.

The ideal candidate:

• Big 4/ Top 10 qualified accountant
• Retail experience
• Available immediately or on a short notice
