Start your job searchA scaling omnichannel retail company is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team based in C, London.
As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership to the company, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, and driving business growth through financial analysis and planning. You will be the key point of contact for financial matters, working closely with senior management and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Develop and manage the company's financial plans and budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations to senior management
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and auditors
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
- Manage and supervise the finance team, providing guidance and training as needed
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and improve profitability
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with previous experience leading a finance team. As this is a scaling business, you must have a good mix of financial controls and FP&A experience. Previous experience working within retail, wholesale or eCommerce would be ideal along with experience working with NetSuite.
