Head of Finance Transformation
- Permanent
City of London, London
The details
We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance Transformation to lead a large-scale finance transformation programme centred around the implementation of SAP S/4HANA and the modernisation of finance processes, systems, and operating models.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end finance transformation, working across Finance, Technology, Commercial, and Operations functions to deliver sustainable process improvements, enhanced controls, and greater business value.
A key focus of the programme will be the transformation of pricing, billing, revenue management, and monetisation processes. As such, we are particularly interested in candidates who have delivered pricing transformation initiatives as part of wider ERP, finance transformation, or digital transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a complex Finance Transformation programme aligned to SAP S/4HANA implementation.
- Define and execute the finance transformation roadmap, including process redesign, operating model development, and technology enablement.
- Drive the transformation of commercial finance processes, including pricing, billing, revenue management, and Order-to-Cash.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, and Technology functions to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Establish best-practice finance processes, governance frameworks, controls, and reporting capabilities.
- Lead large cross-functional teams through significant business and technology change.
- Ensure transformation delivers measurable business benefits, efficiency improvements, and enhanced customer outcomes.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience leading large-scale Finance Transformation programmes within complex organisations.
- Extensive experience delivering or leading SAP S/4HANA implementations, ideally across Finance workstreams.
- Strong understanding of core finance processes including Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Revenue Accounting, Financial Control, and Commercial Finance.
- Demonstrable experience delivering pricing transformation, pricing governance, monetisation, or billing-related change initiatives.
- Strong track record of finance process redesign, operating model transformation, and business change delivery.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence executive-level audiences.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams within enterprise-wide transformation programmes.
Desirable Experience
- SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management).
- Revenue management, subscription billing, charging, invoicing, or monetisation transformation.
- Experience operating within global, multi-entity environments.
- Consulting and industry transformation leadership experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior transformation leader looking to play a pivotal role in a strategically important S/4HANA-enabled finance transformation programme, with pricing and revenue transformation at the heart of the agenda.
