A global Professional Services firm is currently recruiting for a Programme Manager to join on a permanent basis located at their Central London office. The Programme Manager will manage the overall programme of IT Infrastructure & Security Product related projects. Some projects/programmes within this will have project managers assigned, there may be some that are assigned to the Programme Manager to deliver. This will span across infrastructure related projects such as data centre & unified communications and security projects including security products such as web filtering or Windows Defender.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively manages a range of projects/programmes ranging in sizes with significant strategic and/or commercial impact
- Works with stakeholders to ensure requirements, design, build, testing and acceptance phases are managed and delivered successfully
- Developing, implementing and updating resources allocations plans needed for programmes
- Demonstrates strong skills to communicate, influence, negotiate and deal effectively with all levels of IT, the Business organisation and Suppliers
- Responsible for performance management, development and objective setting for your direct reports
Key Skills & Experience
- Significant Programme Management experience ideally within an IT environment with experience delivering in infrastructure and security product programmes of change
- Experience of running a diverse portfolio of projects/programmes including infrastructure, data centres, unified comms, telephony, network/storage or security products ie. Web filtering/Windows Defender
- Experience managing projects in an Azure cloud environment - desirable
- Qualified in an industry recognised programme management accreditation e.g. MSP or similar or can demonstrate experience in delivering programmes/projects using a structured approach
- Experience in assisting in tender processes and resultant supplier management
- Industry knowledge - understanding of a Professional Services Industry - desirable
