Marks Sattin are working with a highly recognised, multi-million-pound turnover business based in Leeds to support in their search for an experienced finance professional to join their team.

You will be joining this business to cover a maternity leave, so a starting date soon will be ideal, the contract will last over a period of 9 - 12 Months.

This is a flexible organisation who operate on a hybrid basis with travel into the office 3 days per week. You will be offered a salary of up to £80k DOE, along with other benefits.

The role involves monitoring and assessing new accounting standards, while providing insightful analysis of current practices to identify areas for improvement. It includes developing clear, regionally sensitive guidance on technical accounting matters, overseeing the implementation of updated processes to meet reporting requirements, and advising on the control environment. The position also supports significant transactions and offers ad-hoc technical accounting assistance to both regional and Group finance teams.

The ideal candidate will:

- Be ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally with a Practice background.

• Have experience in global finance operations, including multi-currency and consolidation.
• Deliver clear technical accounting guidance and support global reporting teams.
• Support oversees updates to meet evolving financial reporting standards.
• Provide insight and analysis on accounting treatments and reporting controls.
