Excellent opportunity to work for a well-known brand providing management accounting and strategic support to the Finance Director. You will be responsible for aiding strategy development through the provision of effective data, developing and implementing best practice across the group businesses, including; group policies, reporting deadlines, external and internal audit requirements, budgets and forecasts. The role therefore requires someone who can effectively business partner operating companies to analyse and review performance and forecasts including a continued focus on working capital and capex appraisal.

The main aspects of the role will be

• Provide management accounting and strategic support, information and interpretation to the Group Financial Controller as an essential component of managing the business effectively and profitably.
• Support the drive for commercial development and continuous performance improvement through the provision, analysis and interpretation of data.
• Manage and advance the Group Management Accountant's.
• Develop and improve the processes
• Additional Ad hoc project work

Skills & Experience needed

• Fully qualified accountant - either CIMA, ACCA or ACA
• You will have demonstrable experience leading the management reporting process within a large group
• Most importantly you will have a commercial approach combined with an excellent technical knowledge, with the ability to operate in a fast paced, changing environment.
