The Role: Interim Senior Governance Manager

The Client: Specialist Savings Bank

The Location: Chatham, Kent

Duration: 6 months

Pay rate: £625- £705 per day via umbrella (dependant on experience)

A great opportunity to join a collaborative team, reporting directly into the Head of Statutory Compliance and Governance Reporting. Someone with excellent Governance and Secretarial experience within a regulated environment would be perfect for this role!

The Role:

  • Support statutory and executive committees, ensuring effective governance processes are in place.
  • Provide guidance on governance standards, compliance, and best practice.
  • Draft and review governance documentation, reports, and policies.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Monitor, identify, and address governance risks.

Prior Experience:

  • At least 5 years working in a company secretarial or governance department within a listed/regulated organisation
  • Knowledge of the Companies Act, Listing Rules, Prospectus, Disclosure Transparency Rules and UK Corporate Governance Code is a must
  • 2 years or comparable prior experience dealing with Directors/Senior Executives is desirable

Ideal for someone with immediately available or on a short notice period of no more than 2 weeks.
