Start your job searchWe are proud to be supporting a large business in Yorkshire who are looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager. You will play a key role in delivering accurate and diverse audit reports and work alongside senior leadership. Your work will help strengthen the Group's control environment, improve processes, and identify risks and opportunities across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planned and ad‑hoc audit and consultancy engagements, ensuring quality throughout.
- Produce clear, accurate audit reports and project assurance reviews.
- Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across the business.
- Support teams in developing and maintaining operational risk registers.
- Provide guidance to audit team members.
- Analyse business needs and help simplify and improve processes.
- Stay informed on changes within your business area and their implications.
Requirements
- Professional qualification: CIA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of audit, risk, and control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
- High‑quality written communication and report‑writing experience.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, complex environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and networking skills.
- Experience supporting delivery of audit plans.
