Outstanding Opportunity - IT Director - Head of IT Europe, IT Operations & Infrastructure - Leading growing global investment organisation requires an experienced IT Director - Head of IT Europe, IT Operations & Infrastructure to support a complex & fast-moving financial & investment environment

  • This is an empowering hands-on IT leadership position where you will add value & make a difference, encompassing the areas of IT Operations, IT Infrastructure, DevOps, Cloud technologies, Governance & Compliance & first-class IT Support with understanding of private equity & hedge fund business models.
  • As IT Director - Head of IT Europe, IT Operations & Infrastructure you will be an IT Leader with proven track record of developing a strategic & tactical IT plan to improve IT Operations.
  • You will create roadmap to migrate to cloud first env & implement DevOps practices to improve agility, reliability & security

Expertise & Responsibilities - IT Director - Head of IT Europe, IT Operations & Infrastructure

  • Solid experience as IT Director, Head of IT, Head of IT Operations & Infrastructure, Head of Infrastructure & IT Operations
  • Experience & working knowledge of alternative investment management industry, including understanding of hedge fund & private equity business models, related technology & platforms (eg Advent Geneva & Investran)
  • Experience of high availability environment with solid understanding of infrastructure & network architecture, to enable & accelerate innovation & growth targets
  • Track record to develop roadmap to migrate to cloud first environment & implement DevOps practices in order to improve agility, reliability & security
  • Enhance visibility & business interface by delivering consistent, reliable first-class customer service & experience.
  • Understanding & experience in managing a portfolio of platforms, environments & engineering tools stack with experience & exposure to other cloud platforms (eg AWS, Azure & Google)
  • Direct, hands-on experience with DevOps and release management tools, with proven track record of developing successful solutions, people, processes and services.
  • Employ Governance, Security & IT Compliance across IT operations
