My client, a leading Retail group, is looking to add a Management Accountant to their vibrant team for the next six months. The role will focus on the commercial side of accounting with a broad range of responsibilities.

Outline of the role below:

What we require:

• Collate the weekly financial reporting and analysis
• Processing accruals and finalising month end, quarter end and year end accounts
• Preparation of statutory reporting across the UK
• Ensure integrity in the P&L by ensuring that all journals posted are complete, accurate and substantiated
• Be involved with and promote process improvement of financial reporting

What you will bring:

• Expertise in financial reporting analysis models
• Qualified ACA (big 4)
• Strong technical accounting competency
• Highly developed, proven analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the business
• 1+ year experience within the retail/consumer industry
