Management Accountant | Wigan | 6 month Contract | Office Based | £45,000-£55,000

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing business in their search for a Management Accountant to work out of their office based just outside Wigan.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly Management Accounts.
• Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Forecast budgets and manage cashflow.
• Oversee Homes BOM Costings and Stock valuation & control
• Supervise the Purchase ledger and sales ledger.
• Ensure efficient credit control.
• Handle submissions to HMRC for PAYE, VAT, and Pensions
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Contribute actively to the Management Team on company-wide challenges and issues.

Requirements:

• Meet strict reporting deadlines with excellent time-management and organisational skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Possess 10+ years of combined Accounting and Financial Management experience in a commercial environment.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• ACCA / CIMA qualified.
• MANUFACTURING experience is required.
