Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing business in their search for a Management Accountant to work out of their office based just outside Wigan.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly Management Accounts.
- Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Forecast budgets and manage cashflow.
- Oversee Homes BOM Costings and Stock valuation & control
- Supervise the Purchase ledger and sales ledger.
- Ensure efficient credit control.
- Handle submissions to HMRC for PAYE, VAT, and Pensions
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Contribute actively to the Management Team on company-wide challenges and issues.
Requirements:
- Meet strict reporting deadlines with excellent time-management and organisational skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Possess 10+ years of combined Accounting and Financial Management experience in a commercial environment.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- ACCA / CIMA qualified.
- MANUFACTURING experience is required.
