A start-up renewable energy business is looking for a financial controller for initially a 12 month contract. This is a newly created role reporting into the board members.

As the financial controller you will be responsible for all controllership duties including quarterly management reporting and ensuring a timely audit preparation.

Main responsibility:

• Lead the financial audit
• Restructure accounting and finance functions
• Prepare quarterly management accounts
• Ownership of revenue recognition
• Statutory reporting - UK GAAP / IFRS
• preparing the budgets and forecasting

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
• Strong excel / modelling
• Professional service background
