The Role:
We are looking for an energetic, proactive and passionate Financial Accountant to join our awesome team. This position will ensure the transactional integrity of the general ledger, compliance with applicable regulations. We are looking for a Financial Accountant to work collaboratively with the business to provide reporting, analysis and advice, as well as drive continuous process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with short-term cash flow forecasting
- Assist the Accounts Payable function on an ad hoc basis as required.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Regulatory Reporting including the development of Power BI reports.
- Assist in the preparation of month end, yearend and statutory reporting (FRS102)
- Assisting with any external audits and attending to audit queries
- Provide financial analysis, advice and support to the business where required
- Participate in projects and adhoc analysis as required
Who we're looking for:
- Newly Qualified ACA Accountant (Ideally big 4)
- Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls and fundamentals relevant to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Proven experience in delivering reports that are effective, meet business needs and demonstrate the courage to challenge the status quo
- Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining effective and collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Proven well developed written, verbal, interpersonal communication and presentation skills coupled with a strong customer service focus
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others to drive improvements that deliver fast and efficient processes and procedures
