We are proud to be supporting a leading UK retail group who are seeking a Group Operations Auditor to join its Internal Audit function. This field based role will focus on operational audits across multiple sites across the South of England to help strengthen internal controls and drive continuous improvement. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across diverse environments and make a tangible impact on business performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and execute operational audits across the Group
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies
• Deliver clear, actionable audit reports to senior stakeholders
• Collaborate with operational teams to enhance awareness of procedures
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations
• Support investigations and ad hoc audit requests
• Maintain accurate audit documentation and records

Person Specification:

• Part Qualified or Qualified
• Strong background in risk based auditing and controls testing
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Analytical mindset with a focus on root cause analysis
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South of England
• Experience in retail, logistics, or multi-site operations is advantageous
