Job summary

Marks Sattin are currently working with a growing professional services based in Altrincham who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join a team of five on Full time basis.

The Company

An independent professional services providing a variety of services.

The Job Role:

As part of a team of 5 you will be responsible for processing multiple payrolls. Experience with SAGE payroll and recent experience in a similar role would be advantageous but full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process Weekly/Monthly payroll
  • Ensuring compliance and pension auto enrolment for all companies and employees,
  • Manage HMRC communications including RTI, dealing with queries and enquiries relating to payroll.
  • Processing statutory payments for SSP, SMP and attachment of earnings.
  • Preparing and submissions of payroll year end.
  • Keep an accurate record of time spent on each individual job, recording any relevant issues or queries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide professional and courteous service.

Qualifications / Knowledge:

Required: Sage 50 Payroll

Preferred: Certificate in Payroll Processing (CIPP)
