Start your job searchLeading consulting firm is currently recruiting for a Principle Internal Auditor supporting Financial Services clients across the region.
Working in a highly skilled team, you will support the day-to-day delivery of internal audit and wider risk assurance services to a portfolio of financial services clients.
Working in the role, you will be responsible for:
- Manage internal audit contracts and individual reviews in line with the agreed budgets.
- Develop and implement the assurance framework, capturing processes to provide assurance over the accuracy, reliability, and completeness of disclosures and reports.
- Reviewing data, assumptions, policies, procedures, practices, and performance monitoring to assess alignment with best practice and industry requirements and identify potential improvements.
- Agreeing engagement scopes with clients to understand key control testing.
- Quality assurance reviews of internal audit files and reports.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
Requirements
You will ideally have experience of working in an equivalent position in a professional services firm or large in-house function within industry.
You will be proficient in executing and leading audits in accordance with IIA standards and the standards on effective audit in financial services across several of the following areas, such as:
- Regulatory reporting (COREP/FINREP)
- Client Money and Assets (CASS)
- Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP)
- ICAAP and Pillar 3 reporting Senior Managers & Certification Regime
- FCA Systems and Controls - especially in relation to Compliance and Risk Management Frameworks
- Conduct Risk Management
