Newly qualified Private Equity Fund Accountant ACA

Boutique private equity firm head quartered in London is looking for a recently qualified ACA (0-2 years post qualified) to join as a fund accountant. They will look at those with either fund audit experience from the Big 4 or someone from a smaller practice that has experience of preparing accounts.

They are based just off of Regent Street on the Mayfair side but still allowing for a great commute from either the Piccadilly or Victoria line. The offices are one of the best in London which goes hand in hand with their reputation in the world of private equity.

The role will first and foremost be an accounting position; you will be responsible for all fund reporting requirements including monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. However, there will be scope to get involved with deal focused responsibilities should you show the right aptitude and appetite. This will initially come in the form of structuring, portfolio monitoring and valuations.

In terms of the company itself, technology and media is their core investment focus but they also take an opportunistic approach to retail and real estate. They are renowned for having an entrepreneurial and no-ego culture, something that they are keen to protect. As such, they will only take on candidates who match their ethos and fit in personality wise. For those that do suit, they have a great support structure with the Financial Controller, who this role reports into, being ex Big 4 and relishing coaching and bringing talent through in his team. This is the perfect opportunity to move straight into a private equity house that has the infrastructure to teach and challenge.

The base salary is dependant on your current package and year of qualification however they will always provide an increase. The bonus is also competitive and in line with industry standard.
