Start your job searchA global, leading commodity trader based in central London is currently recruiting for a Product Controller to join their dynamic finance division. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or qualified accountant, looking to join a business that can offer strong career progression (both in the UK and internationally).
The role will be responsible for working closely with traders to provide support through financial and management information analysis and reports; timely and accurate P&L reporting for the global trading regions; review and challenge the pricing of contracts; develop a set of standards and reports for the trading operation to improve financial and commercial support; ensure compliance with minimum control standards and risk requirements; support for traders and operations, providing all relevant financial information and responding to ad hoc requests.
The successful individual must have prior experience working in product control, and will ideally have previous experience of operating within a fast paced international trading environment. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to transactional activities, financial reporting and control, continuous improvement and business performance initiatives.
