roduct Governance Manager - £500/day (12 month contract)
A Greater Manchester based Financial Services organisation are keen to recruit an experienced Product Governance Manager for their expanding team. You will be responsible for providing an oversight on product approval within the business. As such you will need to provide guidance to key stakeholders across a variety of business units, with a view to embedding said products into the business. Candidates with previous exposure to risk management or Audit/compliance will feel particularly comfortable within this role.
You will be tasked with analysing the new product offerings and raising potential issues with the director or risk prior to product launch dates. Ideally you will need previous exposure to offering wide scale stakeholder decision support. In doing so, you will be expected to present your findings to key operational stakeholders at monthly meetings.
Your main task will be to provide MI and subsequently advise the business on the control standard requirements which are needed in order to gain board approval. Where there is a breach in project control standards, you will be expected to present solutions to the director of risk. Due to the nature of the role, you will have regular contact with key risk personnel within various areas such as finance, credit ,operations and legal. As such you must have strong interpersonal skills in order to be considered. Furthermore you will also need to have strong analytical and decision making skills.
