Start your job searchMarks Sattin are partnering with an exciting, rapidly growing Telecomms organisation based in Reading, assisting in their search for a Project Finance Analyst.
This new role has been created to support a revolutionary ongoing project and would suit a finalist/qualified Accountant who has lead/managed a project from the financial perspective, including monitoring costs, raising purchase orders, cash and budget forecasting.
Duties include:
- Work with commercial business teams and accountable for accurate and timely reporting and analysis
- Timely and accurate recharging project costs to the correct business units
- Maintain finance trackers, tracking used and committed expenditure against bulk purchase orders, & notifying and supporting the business in securing additional funding in a timely manner.
- Lead the team in budgeting, forecasting and managing the month-end process
- Produce monthly reports for analysis actuals versus budget and challenge the business on variables
- Building relationships with, and supporting Senior Stakeholders
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant/ Part Qualified
- Strong Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid accounting skills.
- Experience of stakeholder management, demonstrating ability to work closely with external stakeholders.
