Sales / Account Manager / Client Partner

A growing international automotive telematics company is looking for an experienced Account Manager / Client Partner with experience of the automotive sector for its growing UK hub centred on the Heathrow area.

The main remit of the role will be to acquire new customers as well as work closely with existing strategic ones with the aim to develop revenue to its full potential and grow its presence in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Seeking and engaging with new customers
  • Developing existing client portfolio to maximise revenue
  • Leading bid and RFQ activities
  • Manage daily requests coming from customers, and channel them to the appropriate people belonging to the local structure or Italian functional units.
  • Facilitating the relationship with local partners which are important for the deployment of the firm's services

Skills

  • Sales experience within a complex services sales cycle as opposed to pure products
  • Proven background in a customer development role with heavy client engagement activities
  • Technical background with specific exposure to the automotive sector is essential
  • University degree in either and IT or economic subject or equivalent experience
  • Experience of working with multinational companies and stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work autonomously when it comes to business meetings and presentations
