Senior Accountant - Group Reporting | North Manchester | 6 month contract | Up to £400pd

Marks Sattin are seeking an experienced and motivated accountant for a 6 month contract in North Manchester. The successful candidate will have strong Cognos Controller experience and be adapt with preparing and presenting a variety of financial reports to support year end and audits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with year-end financial reporting and consolidation processes.
• Utilise Cognos Controller for financial reporting and consolidation.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and verify financial data.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency.

About you

• ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified accountant
• Proven experience with Cognos Controller.
• Strong consolidation skills and experience in a multinational environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PAYE - Up to £310pd
UMBRELLA - Up to £400pd
