An opportunity for a part qualified accountant to join an entrepreneurial fund manager who is exclusively focused on sustainable and impact investments.

They are internationally recognised and have raised £1bn of capital committed to impact investing over the past 17 years, with a focus on four themes: health & well-being, education & skills, sustainable living and underserved markets.

They are looking for a part qualified accountant to assist with the preparation of the accounts of the business, responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for review
  • Posting of additional journals e.g. prepayments, accruals and deferred income
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Assisting with the UK corporate tax reporting including preparation of VAT returns;
  • Preparation of the year-end audit file and acting as first point of contact for auditors
  • Preparation of year end statutory accounts for active and dormant companies
  • Annual budget preparation

Senior Accountant requirements:

  • Must be ACCA/CIMA part qualified
  • Previous experience of corporate management accounting
  • Proficient on Sage and Excel
  • Private equity experience is highly desirable
