The details
An international, leading gaming business based in Central London is currently seeking a new Senior Finance Analyst to join their fast-paced team, following a recent merger and restructure. The role will report directly to the VP of Finance, and will be responsible for:
- Monthly reporting, forecasting and business planning for the group.
- KPI reporting and analysis on a timely basis.
- Business partner with accounting team to ensure an accurate and timely month-end close process.
- Business partner with Commercial Finance to develop operational plans, forecasts and financial analysis.
- Support deal evaluations, pricing strategies and financial modelling
- Identify and analyse efficiencies in the business to drive change and automation
- Manipulate and analyse large data sets to provide clear and effective recommendations
- Utilize advanced presentation and visualization software to effectively communicate analysis to key stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Partner with the wider business and finance teams to build robust analytical models, tools and processes.
- Build BI dashboards and reporting - including variance analysis and scenario modelling.
- Competitor and market analysis to drive commercial recommendations
- Business partner with other business areas across finance, corporate finance, sales, technology, shared services and marketing.
- Additional ad-hoc project work and analysis as required.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated, preferably within accounting and finance. Ideally you will be qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA), however candidates without qualification who have relevant analytical experience working in a similar role will also be consider. Candidates must be highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and have experience using tools such as PowerBi, TM1, Anaplan and Salesforce. This is a strategic role, with lots of stakeholder interaction, so you must have great business and industry acumen, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and complex Financial Modelling skills are a must, with a track record of process improvement initiatives.
