I am currently working with an established private investment software company with offices across Europe and America. Having experienced recent growth this organisation is looking to build its finance team and is currently seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join their Munich offices. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced organisation and offers you the opportunity to progress quickly within an organisation.

About the role -

• This role covers a number of aspects of finance including, accounts payable and expenses, cash management, variance analysis and financial reporting.
• You will be requires to prepare timely and accurate GAAP finance statements, board reports and budgets.
• Reporting in to the Finance Manager you will partner with various finance and operations' colleagues to drive the growth of the business.
• Working alongside colleagues in the M&A team and supporting the integration of various acquisitions.
• Quality assurance through reviewing general ledger postings, monitoring revenue recognition and assessing variance analysis outcomes in reports.
• Assisting with system implementation and process improvements.
• Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure standards are upheld and best practices of the portfolio.
• Providing financial guidance and various other ad hoc reports and projects.

In order to be considered for this position candidates must have proven experience in a finance/accounting role as well as a strong knowledge of relevant financial principles. With the role being based in Munich, candidates must be able to speak German at a business level. The organisation currently uses NetSuite and Sage Intact so experience of either systems is ideal but not essential.

The company currently offers flexible working with 2 days required on site at their offices in central Munich. Though travel will not be frequent, you will occasionally be required to travel to the Headquarters based in Canada and other European offices a few times a year.
