Finance Transformation - Manager or Senior Manager

As a part of multi-disciplinary teams this role works with Finance leaders within the Financial Services, private & public sectors to combine finance capability with programme and change management expertise to implement and embed improvements and deliver sustainable value. The Finance Transformation team helps CFOs to transform the finance function from a "supporting" function to a "business partner", reduce its cost base, increase efficiency and the quality of information

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Work with the client service teams in areas such as finance operating model design, shared services implementation, finance process improvement, outsourcing advisory, and management reporting and control
  • Advising on the finance function of the future leveraging the digital finance technologies that are transforming finance functions
  • Finance operating model design
  • Performance Management (including FP&A/close, consolidation and reporting)
  • Shared services design and implementation
  • Digital Finance review, recommendation and implementation

The successful applicant will have:

  • Prior consulting experience in finance transformation, or significant roles in large-scale finance transformation projects is essential
  • Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA and a strong academic record
  • Ideally 6-8 years post qualification experience within the banking or insurance sectors is required
  • The ability to develop good working relationships is critical
  • Initiative and a proactive approach, balanced with strong business acumen and drive for success
