Senior Financial Accounting Lead

£70K-£90K + Package / £500-£600 per day

Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for technical accounting and external reporting? We're looking for a seasoned expert to lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and drive best practice reporting across a complex, multi-entity group.

In this pivotal role, you'll:

• Oversee year-end and half-year group reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
• Act as the go-to technical accounting advisor for new standards and business initiatives.
• Manage the external audit process and maintain strong relationships with auditors.
• Own group accounting policies and contribute to key Board and Audit Committee papers.
• Champion continuous improvement in reporting processes and controls.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
• Strong IFRS expertise and proven ability to manage audits end-to-end.
• Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
• Background in a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm is highly desirable.
