Expertise & Responsibilities - Senior Infrastructure Engineer

▪ Strong experience as Infrastructure Engineer

▪ Solid expertise in Cisco UCS & Azure (migration on SaaS platform) is essential

▪ Experience of V-sphere, VMware (virtualisation), Veeam (backup), & NetApp storage is essential

▪ Essential to have strong core capabilities in Windows, Exchange & related Applications

▪ Knowledge or familiarity of IBM iSeries is expected as this is required for ongoing support & future projects. Although you do not need to be an expert in this area, there is an expectation to develop some skills in this area, so familiarity is a minimum requirement

▪ Key element of role is collaboration & working closely with group services based in Europe, so effective communication & collaboration skills are essential

▪ Icing on cake would be any experience of Metro clusters

▪ Responsibility for translating business requirements & functional specifications into technical requirements that support integrated & sustainable designs for complex infrastructure systems

▪ Role will provide technical expertise within the team defining & overseeing technical documentation whilst also mentoring & inspiring more junior members of team

▪ It is expected you will have 7+ years experience, ideally with relevant certifications

▪ The role is Perm, up to £80k package dep on exp (£60-£65,000 salary +Bonus +Bens)
