Start your job searchWe are offering a unique opportunity to lead and develop a Stress Testing team during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
About the Role:
As the Stress Testing Senior Manager, you will:
- Spearhead Innovation: Lead the establishment of our first bespoke Stress Testing team.
- Own Key Processes: Oversee the BAU stress testing processes, including planning/forecasting and the Pillar 2B section of the ICAAP.
- Build the Function: Develop skills, capabilities, and infrastructure to ensure our stress testing remains cutting-edge and future-ready.
- Lead with Vision: Act as a thought leader, providing timely and comprehensive outputs and analysis.
- Engage Stakeholders: Work closely with the Board, Group Risk Committee, Executive Risk Committee, and ALCO to integrate stress tests into strategic decision-making.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the stress testing framework, ensuring robust processes, policies, and controls.
- Ensure the Society meets standards, including ACS and BES requirements.
- Develop and deliver strategic plans and priorities for the stress testing team.
- Own and enhance all end-to-end stress testing processes.
About You:
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of stress testing within banking institutions and a strong grasp of the Bank of England's stress testing regime.
- Strategic Insight: Strong understanding of balance sheet management, including capital, market, and liquidity risk management.
- Leadership: A competent, supportive, and empowering leader who can work collaboratively with stakeholders and the team.
The role is offering great flexibility, with a healthy salary package of £105.000 + pension contribution, and a host of other company benefits.
