Senior Tax Assistant £34,000 DOE with Benefits

Marks Sattin are collaborating with a global Law Firm looking to expand their Tax Team due to sustainable growth within the business. This role will be overseeing the Asia Pacific region and reporting to the International Tax Manager & Global Mobility Director, offering exceptional opportunity for long-term career progression within a renowned company. The Tax Team, comprised of 20 talented individuals across the UK, seeks an enthusiastic and adaptable individual eager to learn and contribute.

This role offers hybrid working and allows you to work from the offices in multiple locations across the UK.

The Role:

Day to Day:

• Initial review of tax computations, returns, and payments
• Maintenance and management of international tax records
• Assistance with year-end procedures and preparation of accounts disclosures
• Budgeting throughout the year
• Ad hoc tasks as required
• Providing cover and support during managers' absence
• Assist with monthly UK and overseas payroll reporting
• Collaboration with external advisers on tax return support for secondees
• Support of the Global Mobility tax function
• Liaison with internal and external stakeholders

Compliance:

• Facilitate accurate year-end consolidation and Country-by-Country (CbC) reporting
• Review and follow-up on instances of non-compliance
• Annual review of tax and statutory compliance deadlines

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or working towards
• Experience engaging with internal & External stakeholders
• Experience of working in tax

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of payroll administration
• Experience working with International Tax
• Experience with personal tax
